这是一部诞生在剪辑台上的纪录片。这样去下定论,一方面是因为这部影片中大量使用和所论述核心事件无关的镜头去进行看图说话,另一方面原因则是因为整部电影的合理性是建立在人为建构的叙事结构上的。
所谓“看图说话”的段落,基本上在于老照片和场景还原的应用。这是一个发生在很久以前的故事,既然故事是过去时而影像资料又缺失,在提到过去故事的时候,导演只能使用各种办法去想方设法弥补缺憾,让影像重生。从此向度而言,我觉得大可理解;然而影片本身的力量因此而大为削弱了。
